Starter is a 15 year old draft cross gelding. Don't let his age scare you; he still has several years of life left in him. Everything this horse has done screams gentle. He has been used for three years at the National Ability Center in Park City, Utah. Here, his duties included riding lessons for children with disabilities. I have used him to carry inexperienced riders at rides at Sundance Resort. Although, he does have a calm nature, he is savvy enough to get around packing elk out of our hunting camp in the Tetons. Starter travels well with other horses, but also steps out and covers country on his own. I appreciate that he is easy to catch, nice to shoe and handle.
