As a teenager I rode in JR posse, little britches rodeos and worked my Uncle’s ranch in Lund, Nevada. The cowboy bug was set. However, I took a 20 year break to go to college, serve my church, got married and started a family, and then had a rewarding career in the military all over the world. I have been back riding at my own place for the last 15 years and have started over 60 horses during that time. I do day work as often as possible to give my horse as much real jobs as possible. My mother was a school teacher for over 20 years and always said to be a great teacher you had to be a student first. With that admonition, I am and will always be a student of the horse and horsemanship, trying to improve myself and my horses with every ride. I represent my horses as accurately as possible and stand behind them.
