Ike works for Simplot on a 1500 head cow/calf ranch in Grouse Creek, Utah. Ike strives to be an excellent horseman as well as cowboy. He possesses a lot of timing and feel so his horses pick up on what he expects of them very quickly. Ike's horses usually go on to do really well in all other aspects because they know what it is like to work for a living and handle high pressure situations. Ike's horses fit people who want one responsive. When you cue them to do something, you better be ready for them to do it because they only need asked once. We try to sell one or two nice broke horses a year. We will not offer one for sell unless we are confident they are ready to go to just about anyone. If we don't think you will be satisfied with our horse, we will tell you. Ike expects a lot out of his horses, so you can be sure they have done everything on the ranch and do it well. If a horse has an issue, he doesn't avoid it. He will work them through it until it becomes a strong point.
