Well I guess it all started in Idaho. When I was around the age of 8, several cowboys would pick me up and take me along for the day. It was then I decided I was going to be a cowboy. Eventually I landed a job at Canyon Cattle Feeders. I had no idea what an impact that opportunity would have on my life. I was encouraged to improve my horsemanship and make better horses. I developed a desire to learn more from reading, watching, and listening.
Since the feedlot, I have been fortunate to work for many different ranches in several different states. I have been able to work with many hands and observe their skills. I believe a true horseman is a work in progress, and I continue to strive for that perfect horse.
